EWCFI was incorporated in October 2023 with its registered office at Hyderabad, Telangana. The business develops, manufactures, sells, and exports wear protection solutions such as piping systems and other wear protection components and its accessories, for concrete conveying and other hydraulic or pneumatic conveying in various user industries.

JOB SUMMARY

The Finance Manager will establish, manage, and control the finance and accounting function for a pipe manufacturing and fabrication unit and a Greenfield project. This role ensures robust financial systems, statutory compliance, effective cost control, strong project finance governance, and timely financial reporting throughout project execution and plant operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Function Setup (Greenfield Phase)

  • Set up end-to-end finance & accounts systems for the greenfield project.
  • Aligning local chart of accounts & cost centers with Group’s structure.
  • Implement ERP / accounting systems (SAP / Pro-Alpha / Tally).
  • Establish SOPs for accounting, controls, approvals, and documentation.

Project Accounting & Cost Control

  • Monitor project CAPEX, including buildings, plant & machinery, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Track project costs against approved budgets and report variances.
  • Implement cost control mechanisms for fabrication, utilities, manpower, and overheads.
  • Capitalize assets and manage CWIP during project execution.

Financial Planning & Budgeting

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Support ECB funding from parent company and working capital assessments.
  • Analyze production costs (pipes, elbows, fittings, fabrication jobs).
  • Provide MIS reports for management.

Accounting, Reporting & MIS

  • Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with statutory and accounting standards
  • Develop plant-level MIS including:
    • Cost per ton / meter emphasize
    • Contribution margins
    • Inventory valuation
    • Debtors, creditors, and working capital analysis
  • Support consolidation with corporate finance team.

Statutory Compliance, Taxation & Export

  • Ensure compliance with:
    • GST (returns, reconciliations, audits, timely GST Refunds for Export)
    • Income Tax (TDS, advance tax, assessments)
    • Companies Act, Factory Act, and other applicable laws
  • Manage statutory audits, tax audits & Transfer Pricing.
  • Liaise with consultants, auditors, tax authorities, customs for Exports.

Working Capital & Treasury Management

  • Manage receivables, payables, and inventory.
  • Monitor credit limits, customer advances, and LC / BG operations.
  • Coordinate with banks for forex payment, ECB Documentation, etc.
  • Optimize cash flow during ramp-up and stabilization phase.

Inventory & Cost Accounting

  • Oversee valuation and accounting of raw materials (pipes, elbows, plates, fittings), WIP and fabricated items, and consumables and spares.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation between finance, stores, and production.
  • Implement standard costing and variance analysis.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

  • Implement strong internal financial controls and approval matrices.
  • Ensure segregation of duties and audit readiness.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Support corporate governance and compliance requirements.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Coordinate with SCM, procurement, stores, production, projects, HR, and QA/QC.
  • Provide financial insights to plant and project leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA) preferred.
  • MBA (Finance) / M.Com considered with strong industrial experience.
  • 8–10 years in finance & accounting in manufacturing / EPC / heavy engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, steel, or infrastructure projects preferred.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES

  • Strong expertise in accounting, manufacturing costing, and ERP/SAP Finance, with a focus on accurate inventory and cost data.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control cost variances, and drive working capital efficiency.
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver timely financial closures and accurate management reporting.
  • In‑depth knowledge of statutory compliance and taxation, with a track record of zero penalties.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and audit management skills, including effective closure of audit observations.
  • Effective leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and clear communication with senior management and auditors.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Full-time 6 days working in a week at the India manufacturing facility.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when required.
