We are pleased to welcome Mr. Santhosh Ramajayam to the Esser Werke Con Forms India Pvt. Ltd. (EWCFI) team. Santhosh officially joined the CFI Group on November 7, 2024, bringing with him over a decades of experience in the steel industry, with a strong background in purchase, sourcing, sales, and business development.
Santhosh hails from a village in Dharmapuri district, Tamil Nadu. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by an MBA in International Business Management. Known for his ability to connect with people and solve problems with a collaborative mindset, Santhosh has worked across cross-functional teams throughout his career, driving continuous improvement and customer-focused solutions.
His professional journey spans across various verticals of the steel industry, including automotive steel, hydraulic cylinder steel, and building material steel. At EWCFI, Santhosh leads the Sales and Business Development function for both the Domestic and Export Markets, serving in the role of Country Head – Sales & BD, India.
In his current role, he is responsible for expanding our business with OEM customers across India by delivering complete concrete pipeline solutions and building long-term strategic partnerships. In addition, Santhosh also oversees the Aftermarket segment, focusing on introducing single-layer heat-treated pipes for boom placers—a significant innovation for the Indian concrete placement industry.
Santhosh strongly believes that EWCFI’s decision to begin manufacturing in India is a timely and strategic move. With India’s infrastructure and construction sectors growing rapidly and moving toward automation—such as boom placers, laydown pumps, spider booms, & placing booms—he sees great potential for long-term growth and local market leadership.
Beyond work, Santhosh is passionate about tree plantation initiatives and actively contributes to a charity trust in India that provides food for the underprivileged and supports free education for orphaned or under-resourced children. He considers this work a personal mission and a source of great pride.
